One of Esplac’s main objectives is therefore to watch over the quality of the projects of the member esplais. To achieve this goal, Esplac sets out two major work guidelines:

- To promote the participation of youth leaders and esplais in the projects and joint activities and to establish a monitoring, support and collaboration system, characteristic of a federation whose members are organised in solidarity.
- To offer resources and services which give an answer to all the specific situations and needs of the esplais, both regarding educational and pedagogical aspects and organizational and management ones.

Training: Esplac promotes the continuing training of the youth leaders of the member esplais and therefore encourages them to participate in the youth leader course and the leaders’ course and other courses offered by the Escola Lliure El Sol.

Pedagogical resources for esplai centres

The members of Esplac are consumers and members of the Cooperativa Entorn (the leisure-time services cooperative of the Secular and Progressive Movement), so they can benefit from a number of services at reduced prices such as:

- Hiring country houses, buses, entertainment groups, etc.
- Hiring resources and pedagogical suitcases (circus, giant games, ethnic games, etc.)

- Joint management of projects
